TV Work
This page will showcase all the video news packages I have created for Quays TV news programme. For all of these pieces I have:
- Researched about the topic
- Found and recorded interviews
- Wrote a script and a cue before I edited
- Produced the package in Adobe Premiere Pro
I have also done as-lives as a reporter and been a presenter which has further broaden my skill sets as a journalist.
Croissant Run Club
As mental health becomes a topic of discussion, there is still some negative stigma and taboo around men’s mental health. Croissant Run Club hopes to change this by speaking about it more.
UK Housing Crisis
The UK has seen a massive increase in the lack of housing, with many struggling with mould and damp, lack of space, and anti-social behaviour.
Black History Month in Salford
To celebrate Black History Month, the Langsworthy Cornerstone Community Center has organised an annual event to bring together the community.
Family Run Corner Shop
Corner shops are a staple in most UK neighbourhoods with over 50,000 in the country. Whilst most have to deal with their fair share of trials and tribulations, a family run corner shop in Duchy Road in Salford had more to content with, being one of the few Asian family in a predominately white area.
Media City Regeneration Plans
In 2023, there were plans by Salford City Council to regenerate plans which is set for Media City. This as-live is located in the heart of Media City, as the plans are explained.
Quays News Presenting
I was a bulletin presenter and covered all the day's top stories. With the use of SOTs and ULAYs in between the program, this creates a more visual TV bulletin.
